| Other platforms of interest. 

In addition to the platforms seen in this manual, there are others that may be of interest to the Companies and delegations of the ULMA Group. On this page, we are going be updating the other social platforms that we consider to have the most power.

| Google+

Google+ is Google’s social network. It provides the possibility of creating pages for companies, businesses, etc.  It is a similar concept to the Fan Pages on Facebook. If a Company or delegation from the ULMA Group wants to have a presence on Google+, they should do it as a page, never as a profile.

In the following image, we show an example of a Google+ page, the F.C. Barcelona  page:

The method for managing the Google+ pages is very similar to the way in which Fan Pages on Facebook are created and administered. To create and manage pages on Google+, we must follow these steps:

| Create a personal profile on Google+
| Create, personalize and administer our Google+ pages from the personal profile

| Flickr

Although the power of videos is much greater than photos, it may be interesting to work with photos for certain Companies, specific products, events that we organize, etc.. The recommendation is that we upload the corporate photos to sites recognized as Flickr. They are sites where people get used to searching for photos and additionally, are well considered by search engines. In the following image, we show one of the photos from the ULMA Group’s profile on Flickr:

The method of using Flickr is the same as what was said in this manual about videos: once the photos have been uploaded, it is highly recommended to surround them with text (titles, descriptions, labels) that describe the content, thinking about how users may find our photos on search engines. In the case of Flickr, it is helpful to perform this task for each gallery, and also for each photo.

| Skype

Although Skype is not a social platform like those described in this manual, it may be interesting when offering more contact options with our Companies and delegations. We recommend creating Skype users with references to the Company or delegation at:

| The profile name
| The username
| The profile image, which should be the Company logo

In the image, we show an example of how a a Skype username can be created to give technical assistance to ULMA Packaging, with the personalized name, username and image:

It is also recommendable to provide information about these Skype users on the webpages of the Companies or delegations, to give them greater visibility.
